CHECKING OFF MY LIST

Well, I've kept you in suspense long enough. I promised here that I had another, very exciting "first", so I know you have been waiting with bated breath! This "first" is even one I wrote about 8 months ago as one of my goals.

I RODE ON A BENDY BUS!!!!!

On October 10, I shared how I was hoping that one day in all my Chicago bus-riding that I would catch an articulated bus, or as I prefer, Bendy Bus. A few weeks ago, I was going to meet a friend at the theater to see Prince Caspian and got off our normal bus too soon. So I caught a different bus that would get me closer to the theater and, lo and behold, it was a bendy one! PLUS, no one was sitting in the bend, so I did! It was fabulous! I didn't get to ride it very long, but it was long enough. I immediately sent a text to Mr. PoMonkey to let him know...he was thrilled too. Although when I told him it was a little like a carnival ride, he was a glad he wasn't with me . (And no, Bobby, there was no music being squeezed out.)
