Today I'm Thankful For:
my Clarks weather resistant and
waterproof boots!!!

We received our second big snow of the season this weekend and our walk to work was very nice thanks to my boots keeping my tootsies nice, warm and free from snow.

Today I'm Thankful For:
Chick-fil-A!!!

Mr. PoMonkey and I drove home yesterday from a conference in Louisville, Kentucky and happened upon the delicious restaurant somewhere in Indiana. We don't have Chick-fil-A in Chicago, so it was an extra special treat. Let's hear a shout-out for Combo #1 and an Icedream!!

It's also an added bonus that their "first priority has never been just to serve chicken. It's to serve a higher calling". Their official statement of corporate purpose says that they exist "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A."

That's pretty cool!

Today I'm Thankful For:
an assigned parking space

You don't realize what a blessing it is until you have to circle the blocks again and again just to find a space within walking distance. Thankfully, we don't have to do that!

I know many of you can't stand baths but I love
a nice, long, warm, bubble bath!
