This is just random stuff from life that most of the time includes monkey photos or monkey stuff. Why PoMonkey? I like monkeys! And some friends were on vacation and sent us a postcard. They said that they had found the perfect place for us to live...Pomonkey! I agreed. Indeed, it would be fun to live in a place called Pomonkey. And a blog name was born.

A DREAM COME TRUE
Some would say that it is a dream come true for me, but I wouldn't go that far. However, it was incredibly cool to walk down the sidewalks in Singapore last week with over 50 monkeys walking beside me. My husband and I went to Singapore to visit family for 2 weeks and had a fabulous time. I was on "monkey alert" the entire time, and was upset when days passed and no monkeys had been seen. Finally on our last day there, we saw an entire gaggle, flock, herd...what do you call a group of monkeys? Anyway, here are some photos of my monkey friends from Singapore. Many are out of focus because I was so excited to see them. I was also upset that in my excitement, I failed to get a picture of me with a monkey to prove that I was there. But trust me...I was there and it was awesome!

I'm not sure that your post shows the most journalistic integrity, Ninj. It is my understanding that the monkey of the lower picture was not your "friend," but was in fact chasing you away from her children. Let's clean it up a little bit.
so if i post a picture of the president of the united states on my blog does that mean that i met him and walked beside him? if i have a velvet elvis haning in my foyer does that mean i met him and that he walked beside me? hmmm, all sounds suspicious to me.
I don't like your tone, Vince. I think that if Ginger wants to believe that a monkey is her friend, then we should just let her, and probably not talk about it in public.
I have a witness, Vince. He will vouch for me...I WAS there!
