I'd like to introduce to you my new gorilla friend. We recently had the opportunity to go to the Lincoln Park Zoo in downtown Chicago, and I met MANY new friends. I think I could have spent all day sitting and staring at the monkeys in the Ape House and Primate House. However, since we were with friends, I didn't feel right forcing them to spend all day with the monkeys. Plus the echos of screaming children on field trips got to be too much after a while. So stay tuned for more stories and pictures from our trip.

MY NEW FRIEND

we also went to the zoo yesterday. we learned that there is a difference between monkeys and apes. a monkey has a tail and an ape does not. so your gorilla friend is an ape not a monkey and i question the validity of posting him to a site about monkeys.

I am aware of the differences between monkeys and apes. PoMonkey is a friend to all primates, tail or no tail.
