I've got a new trick for those of you who are blessed to have a dish washer (an electric one, not your spouse!) I saw this tip in my Real Simple magazine (absolutely the best magazine, in my opinion). To clean the inside of your dishwasher from food gunk and spills, purchase one small packet of lemonade flavored Kool-Aid. Pour it where you normally put soap, and then let it run through a complete cycle - empty, of course. I tried it and it really works!! My dishwasher was spotless!
But it does make me wonder what it does to your stomach.

Yes!! I've done that several times! Someone told me about that way back in '92 when Billy and I bought our first house. The dishwasher was horrible! We ran the lemonade through twice, and it made some difference, but it still needed a thorough cleaning. (We put my sisters to work on it!) I used lemonade in my dishwasher a few months ago when we moved into the house we're renting. It cleaned up quite nicely!
Got any other good tips? I've got to see that magazine...
