As I walked from work to the train station yesterday in downtown Chicago, there was the pervasive smell of fresh-made, just-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies!! For the entire 7 blocks!How odd.
Out of all the other "aromatic" possibilities in downtown Chicago, I'm NOT complaining!

As I was walking in today, I smelled Fried Chicken. Although I LOVE fried chicken it was an odd smell at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. Oh and it did not smell like American Fried Chicken, it smelled like Asian Fried Chicken which means they used Shrimp Paste to coat it. Happy Friday!!!
