Fulfilling my civic responsibility is so interesting, even if I was selected and was then kicked out! They say not to take it personally, and I didn't. Now I'm back in the "pool" and have to wait to see if I'm chosen again. I'll keep you posted.

Interesting! For some reason, I've always wanted to serve jury duty, but I've never had the opportunity. I think maybe it's my interest (and short-term college major) in criminal justice. Even if I don't ever serve on a jury, just watching the process of everything seems intriguing.
