PROPS to the HUBS

I have to add to all the props that Mr. Ginger is getting in response to his chapter in Everyday Theology:How to Read Cultural Texts and Interpret Trends. His chapter is on transhumanism, "a small but growing cultural movement that is a logical outworking of the spirit of our age: whatever can be done scientifically and technologically should be done." The title of his chapter is "Human 2.0: Transhumanism as a Cultural Trend."

Baker Academic chose his chapter as the profile chapter to advertise the book. Pretty cool! He was also included in this very nice review by The Journal of Religion and Popular Culture.
"The best essays, in my view, engage the most substantive and provocative cultural texts and trends: for example, The United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights (a text) and transhumanism (a trend), both raise important theological questions about the nature of the human person as well as the future of the human person, and thus rightly deserve more serious theological attention."
Stay tuned for the release of a second book in September with chapters by Mr. Ginger on Blogging and Bioethics and Podcasting, Video Casting and More.
