STRANGE FRUIT
Last weekend we were in Grant Park and saw Strange Fruit, an Australian performing arts company. Definitely strange! Definitely different. Very creative. And almost impossible to explain. These videos may help. I'm not quite sure how they didn't fall over other than they must have INCREDIBLE abs!

Just wondering . . . Is the person on the stick totally contolling it or is there someone on the ground controlling it too? Either way it looks incredibly difficult, I just wish I had been there to see it myself!
No...there is no one on the ground controlling anything. They are strapped in at the top of their thighs.
What is holding the pole down? I don't think I'd have the courage to do that, never mind my inability to do anything musical in the first place!
I checked out the schedule on their website. They are in LA this weekend, so I emailed my sister and told her to go check them out!
Okay, when I saw your "strange fruit" comment on Facebook, I thought it was some sort of fruit... You know, like star fruit or something. This is indeed strange fruit.
