NAUGHTY MONKEY

**I want to go on the record that I’ve had this post in my drafts for several weeks (ht: Abbie)...BEFORE today’s Wall Street Journal article on Sarah Palin’s fashion.

I can’t think of a better brand of shoes to wear than NAUGHTY MONKEY! You can order them at Like.com which I L-O-V-E because you can search for shoes by style, color, material and price. (I’m pretty sure they are trying to reach a demographic younger than Sarah Palin, but I’m sure they’ll take any publicity they get.)

Speaking of Palin, I’ve received numerous questions this morning (I’m at a conference in DC):
“Are you Sarah Palin?”
“Has anyone ever told you that you look like Sarah Palin?”
And then numerous stares!

People, I’ve been doing my hair like this for YEARS!!! I have photos to prove it. And I got these glasses WAY before Palin was announced.

However, it definitely doesn’t offend me. I’ve always thought Palin was beautiful, so the comparison is fine with me! But I’m not intentionally trying to copy her. I think she may be copying ME!

**Update, 3:40pm: so far today I've had 26 people ask if I'm Sarah Palin!!**

I actually almost did make a 'Ginger looks like Palin' remark on Wednesday, but figured you were probably getting it a lot lately.

Thanks again for letting me crash at your crib!

I thought of you immediately, and told my spouse "G looks just like Sarah Palin." Now, you must go to the Secret Service and volunteer to be the fill in for Sarah Palin. Be sure to let them know you know how to handle fire arms, and can shoot with the best of them, thanks to Mr. Po Monkey and a guy named Chuck! Just think of the money you can make, and you can fill in for Sarah on her trips and keep the bad guys in a tither trying to figure out which one is the tight one! Mr. Po Monkey could also fill in for Mr. Palin.
What a GREAT WAY to serve your country!
