This is just random stuff from life that most of the time includes monkey photos or monkey stuff.
Why PoMonkey? I like monkeys! And some friends were on vacation and sent us a postcard. They said that they had found the perfect place for us to live...Pomonkey! I agreed. Indeed, it would be fun to live in a place called Pomonkey. And a blog name was born.

NINJAS STILL BEAT PIRATES
...obviously!
This is my awesome NINJA pumpkin that I carved last weekend. Clearly, WAY BETTER AND AWESOME than any Pirate!
This is Anya's attempt to show that her weak and smelly pirate would win the fight. NEVER!
Those are great! I've never attempted to be creative on a pumpkin. Maybe I'll try it next week when things slow down. I've always wanted to. Now to just figure out what I'd like to carve...
BTW, I saw several ninja costumes in the stores this year, but not so many pirates. Either they aren't as popular this year, or they've been bought out already. The boys aren't going as either one. Jacob is going to be Batman, and Caleb wants to wear a toga...
I'm still going to try to "get out" of doing pumpkin carving for one more year - but I think this will be my last since Kate has commented so often on the Jack-o-lanterns in our neighborhood! Not that I don't enjoy it once I start, but it's that getting started with the messy guts :)
